One of the more famous industrial locomotives 'William Francis' a Bayer-Peacock
0-4-4-0 Garrett (number 6841 of 1937) is in steam at Baddesley Colliery, Warwickshire. William Francis was a fully working loco at this time, he was photographed on the occasion of a visit by members of the Industrial Railways
Society. William Francis is now part of the National Collection at York although his steaming days are over, he has at least out-lived Baddesley Colliery.
