6002 King Wiliam IV steam locomotive
6002 King Wiliam IV, Snow Hill
What is going on? In these days of needing a hard hat to have a bath this seems to be insane! 6002 King William IV is in a main line station, Birmingham Snow Hill, he is in steam and appears to be coupled to a freight. The cab and tender is full of kids! two have even climbed on the coal (bet their mothers were pleased). 6002 was withdrawn in 1962, my guess is this is 1961/2 and Wolverhampton had bulled the loco up for it's last months in service. Was this some event?, it seems odd considering there is a DMU in traffic just behind.
